Illustration and cover design for the Collage  de Pataphysique's Quaderno dedicated to Julien Torma's life and work. Born in 1902, Torma was a writer and poet related with the Dadaist movement.  Due to his secretive behaviour and the impossibility of verifying the supposed details of his life , it has been suggested by some that Torma's existence may even be fictitious. This fact was a main input to conceptualise the portrait, illustrating a face that borders abstraction surrounded by darkness and mystery.
