Abstract collages and parallel worlds
Collage is often misunderstood as belonging to a specific aesthetic—mostly tied to vintage imagery, sepia tones, and scissor-cut silhouettes. But collage is much more than that. It’s a way of creating meaning (and images) through the remixing of existing elements. There are countless approaches: some straightforward and easy to follow, others more abstract, where the message emerges not just from the components but also from the overall mood—mysterious, engaging, and inviting the viewer to interpret actively. Here are some collages I’ve created that explore this direction.
